Sunrise Park
a nice park on the river front
It is really neat how the playground is shaped like a dragon, or alligator, not sure
which they call it.  See the head, with the teeth and eye on the right.  The slide is a
tongue and the slide at the other end is the tail.
A tire swing for 2 or 3.
Sunrise Park

age range
- all ages
equipment - very nice and pretty new structure
- slides -  lots
- swings - swings
baby swings
and really cool tire swing
- lots to climb
- special fenced area called "tot lot" for the younger ones.

mulch/grass - mulch around playground,
fenced/close to street - not fenced but is away from main road
rest rooms - yes
water fountain - yes, next to the restrooms
shade/benchs - there is shade for picnic tables, not a lot of
benches other than places to sit on the equipment.  But the
playground is all in the sun.
Other - next to downtown river front
-  there is a walk way that goes through flower beds that are
very nice.
- this is quite big and it is hard to be in one place and always
see your child unless you are in the tot lot.  Dressing your child
in bright clothes may help.  Or just play along!
this is the sign you see from the street before
you turn to where the park is.  It says sunset
park west, but the park sign next to the
playground says sunrise park. weird huh?
