Howell Park
age range - all ages
equipment - very nice, lots of different items to play on in
different areas, one area for younger kids
- slides - lots
- swings -2 swings
2 baby swings
- lots to climb includes a big "rock" to climb and a good ol'
jungle gym
mulch/grass - sand around most of playground equipment,
pebbles around the big rock,
fenced/close to street - not fenced but there is a split rail
between the park and the drive into the park
rest rooms - yes
water fountain - yes, next to restrooms
shade/benchs - lots of shade and benches and picnic tables
- two nice shelters with picnic tables
- most of the equipment is in the sun
Other - next to the wetlands which is a very interesting place
to go, it has trails and signs with information on animals and
plants of the wetlands
- there is mini golf there
- there is an enclosed shelter also, not sure if you have to call
to reserve that
